Reluxe at Concours des Légendes
What a weekend… three days of glorious sunshine, extraordinary cars and some of the most memorable conversations we've had since launching Reluxe. Concours des Légendes, the brand new classic car event held at the stunning Wilton House in Wiltshire, absolutely delivered.
We were on the stand with our partners Eagle E-Types, showcasing the Reluxe Stereo in one of their beautiful Low Drag GT E-Type, and the response from visitors was wonderful. So many people stopped to take a closer look, try it out and ask questions. We also had the pleasure of seeing the stereo installed in Callum Design's stunning blue Mini, which drew plenty of admiring glances on the lawn.
The cars on display were, as you'd expect from an event of this calibre, absolutely breathtaking. Highlights included a jaw-dropping yellow Lamborghini Miura, some genuinely extraordinary veteran and vintage machinery, and a beautifully patinated Bristol in the Hagerty Drivers Club Owners' Stories display, apparently driven daily by its owner as a barn find. Exactly the kind of story that makes the classic car world so special.
Beyond the cars, Concours des Légendes proved itself to be something genuinely different. The art exhibition was a lovely surprise, the Legends Stage talks were fascinating and the setting, with the grounds of Wilton House as a backdrop, was simply magnificent.
But perhaps the most memorable moments of all were the conversations. Frank Stephenson, one of the most celebrated car designers of his generation, visited the stand and gave us some incredibly thoughtful and positive feedback on the Reluxe Stereo. Having someone of his calibre engage so genuinely with the product was a real highlight. We also had a brilliant conversation with Ian Callum, Wayne Carini stopped by the stand, and we were thrilled to spend time with Edd China too.
Huge congratulations to the Concours des Légendes team on an exceptional first event. We're already looking forward to next year 🎉
